POMA 0.063 in. aluminum hurricane panels are roll-formed from architectural grade 5052-H32 aluminum alloy with a minimum strength of 23.0 KSI (meaning it can withstand 1,000 lbs. of force per square inch). They meet Miami-Dade and Florida building code testing requirements for HVHZ (High Velocity Hurricane Zones) and are approved by Miami-Dade under NOA 06-0706.17 Aluminum panels are light, extremely strong, easy to install and simple to stack for convenient storage. Multiple mounting options are available including direct mount using panel mates and track mounting using Header, F-track or Stud Angle.
